Susanne Lens is Professor of Genomic Instability at the Center of Molecular Medicine (CMM) at UMC Utrecht and a Principal Investigator at the Oncode Institute. Her research focuses on causes and effects of chromosomal (in)stability in cancer. Alongside her work for Ammodo Science, she will remain active as a scientist one day a week.
Reflecting on her new role, Lens says: “From my own experience, I know how valuable it is for scientists to receive support that allows them to ask the most fundamental questions about how the world works. Ammodo Science gives scientists that freedom. I very much look forward to making groundbreaking research possible in my new role.”
