In the concert series Reflex, BIMHUIS invites makers to reflect on the world and its society with a new composition.
For Reflex, Polish-born keyboardist Marta Warelis formed a group with well-known improvising musicians from various cities including Amsterdam and Chicago. The new work, for synthesizer, clarinet, trumpet and vocals, is inspired by Lebanese artist and poet Kahlil Gibran (1883-1931).
