De Hallen in Haarlem presents What the Heart Wants: a solo exhibition with new and renowned work of the Belgian-American artist Cécile B. Evans. Commisioned by the museum Evans made the video-installation What the Heart Wants, in which she presents a scenario for the future with an omnipotent system with human characteristics named HYPER. In this work she speculates about the impact of technology on society and our sense of emotions.
